My friend Barbara loves Creme Brulee and I think I will make it for her for her birthday in December. This Vanilla Creme Brulee recipe appears to be well written and easy to follow, so I don't anticipate any problems making it. Maybe I'll do a test run just to make sure. Just one question..is there anything else I can use to crisp the sugar on top besides a torch. Any suggestions?
