Lumberjack Slow Cooker Pot Roast
Loaded with two kinds of meat, Lumberjack Slow Cooker Pot Roast is a meal fit for a king. Perfectly seasoned, all of the herbs and spices cook together to make one of the tastiest slow cooker recipes. The meat will fall right of the bone and on to your plate. Enjoy.
If you use little apples leave them whole, but if you use big apples cut them in half and then remove the core.
Cooking MethodSlow Cooker
- 2 pounds beef top round roast, frozen
- 2 pounds pork shoulder roast, frozen
- 1 cup red wine
- water as needed
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 1 tablespoon American saffron
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 2 teaspoons thyme leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pound apples
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
Place everything in slow cooker pot; add water until you reach half of the meat.
Pop the lid on and plug on high heat for 6 hours if you like your meat at medium state or up to 10 hours if you like fully cooked and tender meat.
