- 1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple with juice
- 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
- 3/4 cup chopped almonds
- 1 (15.25-ounce) box yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter, cut into cubes
- vanilla ice cream for serving
Lemon Dump Cake Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Spread the crushed pineapple in the dish, spread cherry filing on top. Sprinkle with lemon extract. Sprinkle ½ cup of almost over filling and then cake mix evenly over the nuts. Arrange the butter cubes on top and sprinkle with remaining almonds.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, until cake is golden brown.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
