It is so refreshing to see a creamy pumpkin based dessert for Thanksgiving, or any fall gathering for that matter. Traditional pumpkin pie can get boring, and I don't really care for it's texture. I tend to find myself enjoying the whipped cream on top more than the pie itself most of the time. I used chocolaty heath bar bits for the toffee, and it was truly decadent.
