• 6 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 6 Tbsp sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 125 grams butter
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tsp baking powder


(Portuguese Sweet Muffins). Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease well about 12 medium muffin cups. Sift together the flour and baking powder. Set aside. In a large bowl, combine sugar, egg yolks and grated lemon peel until fluffy. Add melted butter and stir. Add flour and baking powder and stir. In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Gently, fold in egg yolks mixture. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups and bake for 15-20 minutes.
