How much fun is this Quick and Easy Tin Foil Dinner? It turns a quick and easy weeknight dinner into an "occasion". The kids think it is so "cool" , and clean up is a breeze. For cher0818, I used one half carrot in each packet, rough cut into half inch pieces. The mushrooms are sliced and placed in the packet also. Worked out great for me.

The ground beef part is really surprising! I would have thought a sliced steak would be the ingredient! I enjoy cooking meals in tin foil as it makes for such an easy clean up. Has anyone tried this and does the cooking time seem long enough for carrots and potatoes? I bet the Worcestire Sauce makes this absolutely delish. I love that sauce in just about anything!

In the instructions it mentions carrots but the ingredients do not have carrots listed. How many and what do you do with the mushrooms?

I am really looking forward to trying out this recipe. It looks totally delicious. I am always busy and on a tight budget, so think would help me stretch my grocery dollar and be a quick fix. I just know that my "meat and potatoes" loving fiance would flip for this dish as well. This one is going on my pin board for sure.

If something says quick and easy I will look at it. Wow was I surprised at this meal. I never expected ground beef to be put into tinfoil. I absolutely love this quick bite. This is definitely a quick mid-week meal which I am going to make ASAP! I know Worcestershire sauce works well with ground as there is another dish I make with those two combinations. I think I will be posting that recipe.
