Air Fryer Bison Burgers
"These air fryer bison burgers are flavorful, ready in minutes, and an easy way to make bison burgers. Bison is gamier than beef, so there is a little bolder flavor, although some people describe its flavoring as sweet. It’s also “healthier” than beef. According to the Bison Council, bison is up to 84% lower in fat than beef, with about half the calories. When cooking the bison burger, you want the internal temperature to reach 145 degrees to 160 degrees, where the internal juices are clear, not red. Top them with your favorite spreads and enjoy an easy dinner! "

- 16 ounces Ground Bison
- 1 large Egg
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 3 tablespoons Breadcrumbs
- 4 slices Cheese, For Optional Topping
- 4 Burger Buns
Thaw ground bison if necessary overnight.
Set air fryer temperature to 400 degrees.
In a medium to large bowl, season meat and mix other ingredients in with your hand.
Form into 4-5 medium sized patties.
Place burgers inside air fryer, but do not stack them or overlap. Set timer to 10 minutes.
Check that burgers are done and internal temperature reaches 145 (medium rare)-160 degrees (medium) and juices are clear, not red.
