Fruit Cake Bread Pudding
This super easy Fruit Cake Bread Pudding is one of the best ways to use up any and all fruit cake that you may have - whether it's the holidays or any other time of year. Moist and sweet, this amazing pudding recipe will be a family favorite from the first time you make it. Cinnamon infuses this homemade bread pudding with a wonderfully warm flavor. You won't have to worry about eating all those loaves of fruit cake any more; now you have an easy and tasty alternative that will make your dessert that much sweeter.
- 1 (1-pound) loaf fruit cake
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix sugar and eggs together, add milk
Tear or cut fruitcake into bite sized pieces. Put in unbaked baking dish or casserole dish.
Pour milk mixture over and let soak in fridge for 15 minutes (or longer). Can soak for an hour or so before baking.
Top with cinnamon.
Bake for 30 minutes.
