Although chocolate cake mix is a go-to ingredient, some recipes also incorporate goodies like hot chocolate or chocolate syrup... the sky is the limit when it comes to these creative cakes! Start with a dump cake recipe like this one and follow your kitchen bliss.
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 small box of chocolate instant pudding
- 2 cups skim milk
- 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Mix your pudding with the milk according to package directions.
After mixing your pudding and milk, stir in your yellow cake mix. (Just the dry mix, do not add anything to it!)
The batter will be very thick. Spread it into a greased 9×13-inch baking pan.
Bake for 30 minutes, until the edges start pulling away from the pan.
Sprinkle with chocolate chips and enjoy.
