I've only eaten hamburgers at Chili's so I can't compare this chicken recipe to their's. It sounds delicious. The combination of cheese and bacon and barbecue sauce with chicken sounds like a great grilled chicken summer meal or great baked chicken meal in cooler months. My family loves chicken meals.

Here I am singing the praises of another easy recipe that is rich in flavor. I can't help myself, this Just Like Chili's Monterey Chicken recipe is great. The flavors of the marinade really infuses the chicken, and the bar b que sauce, bacon and cheese finish it perfectly. Served it with rice and corn on the cob. Loved It!

Chilis is one of the restaurant chains that don't have a presence where I currently live. And in my travels, I've never eaten at one, so I can't compare this to the restaurant version. However, it is really, really good. The combo of chicken, bacon, and cheese is always going to be a winner for me. The cheese in the photos look like cheddar (though the recipe says Monterey Jack). I might try a cheddar jack cheese next time I make this. I used the Sweet Baby Ray's Chipolte BBQ sauce, which gave it just the extra kick I wanted.

What an enticing looking chicken dish. Definitely a keeper for me. I love chicken breast and eat it often. It is so versatile. I think I am really going to like this. I don't know this restaurant, I don't live in America but I am sure glad I found this recipe to cook chicken this way as I have never done it.

This is great! I hate when good dishes go away from restaurants. But, I will confess that most of the time when I do eat out I come away thinking that I could have made it better. Definitely fresher tasting. The picture makes it seem like cheddar cheese was used, but as the name implies, it is Monterey jack cheese. Either one or even a mix of the two would be good.
