I have several favorite tater tot recipes, and since this one is different, I have to try it. I think tater tot casseroles are wonderful because they usually have enough ingredients to make a complete meal. There's just something about the texture of tater tots that make them my favorite potato.

Maybe I'm just a touch on the biased side but I think tater tots go really well with just about anything. And if they don't...they probably should. This recipe to me, is like a modern day shepherds pie with cheese. The corn I can do without but the green beans and cheese in combination has to no doubt be a big winner at any dinner table.

This dish made my tummy rumble and realise I'm quite hungry. It looks delish. I think I would the tater tots on top but we don't get those in South Africa. What I will do, I think, is make a mixture of fresh breadcrumbs and grated cheddar for the topping which comes out nice and crispy when broiled for a couple of minutes just before serving.

We love anything with hamburger and potatoes, and this recipe sounds like a delicious addition to our dinner menu. It kind of reminds me of an updated Shepard's pie recipe. I suppose you could use just about any vegetable you wanted. I'm excited to try the green beans to see how it tastes. Nice post!

I've lived in Minnesota all my life, and what my family has used in this is not the green beans and corn kernels, but half a package of frozen mixed vegetables.

I made a similar dish to this over the summer but it didn't have the corn or the bean in it which sounds great to me but probably not my kids! I love an easy casserole. I do have a vegetarian daughter though and I wonder if I could use the vegetarian beef crumbles in a smaller size version for her? She might like the added vegetables in there as well.

For me, this was a very odd-tasting combination of flavors. The green beans were my favorite part, though--they cooked to the perfect texture!

I was surprised that I actually like most of the flavors of this casserole. I could have done without the green beans mixed in, though.

I wasn't a fan of the peas, ground beef, and tater tots combination. I think I would have preferred them served separately, rather than together in casserole.

I was a bit wary of the combination of flavors, but it surprised me! This was a very good casserole.

I loved this. It had everything I need - meat, veggies, and potato. I thought the tater tots were the best part.
